ABOUT ME
I started my practice with one goal: to help people access cutting-edge care that truly changes lives.
I'm Ezra Crowson, LSW, NMIT, a therapist offering trauma-informed and psychedelic-informed care rooted in curiosity and respect for each person's lived experience and inner wisdom. I am a Certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Provider through the Integrative Psychiatry Instituteās year-long training program and hold an NMIT license under Colorado's regulated natural medicine framework. I have completed EMDR Basic Training and offer in-person therapy in Denver and Longmont, along with virtual sessions across Colorado.
My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens when people feel safe enough to reconnect with themselves. I support clients navigating PTSD and C-PTSD, neurodivergence, identity exploration, anxiety, OCD, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. As a gender nonconforming and neurodivergent therapist, I am deeply committed to providing LGBTQ+-affirming, person-centered care tailored to each client's unique experiences and needs. I believe the foundation of anti-oppressive care lies in preserving clients' right to self-determination. I work alongside you to honor your autonomy and lived experiences, creating a safe space for healing and self-discovery. I'm passionate about neurodivergent self-advocacy and using psychoeducation to increase understanding of neurodivergent traits, particularly within family and relational systems.
I provide psychedelic integration, psychedelic-assisted therapy, ketamine-assisted therapy, as well as psychedelic personal use and harm reduction services. My clinical work is informed by ongoing training in psychedelic care, plant medicine traditions, and integrative approaches to trauma healing. I currently serve on the board of Leaf and deVine Ayahuasca Church and am completing a multi-year facilitation apprenticeship focused on interfaith spiritual leadership, ceremonial care, and community-centered healing as I work toward ordination. Through trainings and practicums in both the United States and Peru, I have developed a deep respect for both the therapeutic and spiritual dimensions of psychedelic work, as well as the importance of preparation, integration, and ethical facilitation.
Much of my approach centers on nervous system regulation, embodiment, and helping clients better understand the ways survival strategies can shape our inner and outer worlds. I integrate somatically informed techniques, psychoeducation, and experiential approaches to help clients build a stronger sense of grounding and trust within their bodies. Over the years, I have worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups in schools, clinics, and community settings. My therapeutic style is flexible and relational, drawing from EMDR, IFS-informed parts-work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Polyvagal-informed approaches.
When Iām not in session, I spend a lot of time in nature, working on creative projects, volunteering, and hanging out with my two dogs. I continue to feel inspired by the evolving intersections of trauma healing, neurodiversity, spirituality, and psychedelic therapy, and I feel genuinely honored to walk alongside people as they move through change, healing, and self-discovery.
Iād love to help you find your new path. See how you can work with me to discover how to live with radical self-acceptance.
